More InformationGiovanni Pisano Notebook p.[13].Originally carved c.1296 for one of the niches which decorate the façade of the Pisa Baptistery some twenty metres above the ground, this Madonna and Child, badly weathered, may now be found in the Museo dell'Opera in Pisa.
