The Greek implements on the recto, based on illustrations in L'art en Grece (1934) by Christian Zervos, the' Greek Book' referred to in the inscription, are obvious forerunners of Moore's Helmet Head sculptures. For references  to Frobenius see comment on HMF 1340.
