Disbanded notebook of cream lightweight paper 233 x 178mm possibly of 80 pages in ten signatures of eight with or without endpapers. The drawings were not catalogued before they were removed although many have a page number (not in the artist's hand) marked in pencil upper left on the verso. Most drawings were given archive numbers for 1983 although six bear 1982 numbers. From photographic records it appears that the first two pages, catalogued as HMF 82(127) and 82(128), had been detached from the sketchbook for photography as early as 1980. Includes HMF 83(74b).
