Published as a book in English, Japanese, Italian and American editions, with deluxe copies of those in Japanese and Italian, containing 212 illustrations in black and white of Moore's sketches and drawings from 1921 to 1970. There is a preface by Ezio Gribaudo and an introduction by David Mitchinson. The deluxe copies of the Japanese edition contain the etching CGM 161, those of the Italian edition the etching CGM 170.
240 x 195mm: 232 partly numbered pages in fourteen signatures of 16 and one of 8.
The Japanese edition is bound in olive green silk-covered boards with the artist's name blocked in white on the front and the title and publisher's name on the spine, all in English; contained in a transparent dust jacket. The deluxe edition has CGM 161 printed on Rives. The Italian edition is bound in olive green linen-covered boards with the title blocked in white on the front and the title and publisher's logo on the spine. The deluxe edition is contained in an olive green linen-covered slipcase, with CGM 170 printed on Rives.
The deluxe edition of 180 copies comprises:
90 copies in Japanese with CGM 161 numbered 1/90 to 90/90
90 copies in Italian stamped 1 to 90 on a special edition page tipped in between pages [2] and [3] with CGM 170 numbered 1/90 to 90/90
All the prints are signed in pencil by the artist.
