Some of these sketches have connections with three small sculptures, all of 1931: the central figure in the top row with Mother and Child LH 107, the second from left in the middle row with Mother and Child LH 105, and the third from the left in the same row with Half-Figure LH 98. Elements in the drawing also recall HMF 816.
