This drawing was previously recorded as being in charcoal only, rubbed - probably with a tissue or a wetted finger - washed over with brush and water, and then scraped in certain areas, perhaps with the wooden areas of a brush. Having studied the drawing from a photograph, the present cataloguer believes that Moore also used pen and ink and possibly wax crayon, as in several of the following drawings. Some of the forms can be linked with carvings made in 1933, such as Composition LH 131 and Figure LH 138.
