This exhibition organised by the Royal Academy of Arts is a celebration of bronze that brings together outstanding works from the earliest times to the present day, including Henry Moore's Helmet Head No. 3 1960 (LH 467).
Visitors can discover the compelling stories behind some of the world's greatest masterpieces, from Ancient Greek, Roman and Etruscan bronzes, to era-defining Medieval and Renaissance treasures, many of which have never been seen in the UK. Also on display are works by iconic figures such as Rodin, Picasso, Jasper Johns and Louise Bourgeois.
A section of the exhibition has been devoted to the complex processes of making bronze, enabling visitors to explore how models are made, cast and finished by a variety of different techniques.
