More Information
In 1930 Henry Moore contributed a single sculpture, Reclining Figure, bronze (cat. 177), to the Bath Festival of Contemporary Arts, held at the Grand Pump Room, Bath, 20th March - 5th April. The festival contained a number of varied exhibits, including sculpture, needlework, drawings for posters, musical manuscripts and 'humerous art'. It is not clear exactly which of Moore's sculptures was exhibited, as only the title, and that it was lent by the Leicester Galleries, are known.
