It is stated that the architect of the site had envisioned including a piece of sculpture outdoors and as a result Henry Moore was approached. Bryan Littlewood and Alan Boadle are mentioned as having enjoyed conversing with Moore during the visit, and Moore is also pictured with the Dean of A.R.M.C and Graham Beighton (E.C.C).
