Published as a book in deluxe and standard editions, this fourth volume of the Catalogue of Graphic Work contains 162 entries numbered 558 to 719 with corrigenda to the previous three volumes. It catalogues all the editions completed by spring 1984 when the artist ceased producing graphic work, including fourteen which were begun before December 1979 but not sufficiently finished to be included in Volume III. It has a preface in English, French and German, a selected list of museum exhibitions from 1980 to 1985 that included graphics, a list of publishers, an index of prints and a complete index to the four volumes. The deluxe edition contains the etching CGM 603 and the lithograph CGM 651 presented in a separate portfolio.

306 x 230mm: 388 unnumbered pages in twenty-three signatures of 16 and one of 20 bound in brown linen with the title blocked in cream on the spine, in a laminated paper dust jacket with the title and a reproduction of CGM 690 on the front and text in English, French and German on the flaps, contained in a brown linen-covered slipcase. CGM 603 on Barcham Green Crisbrook 572 x 477mm with a watermark designed by the artist, and CGM 651 on T.H. Saunders 572 x 477mm are contained in brown linen-covered portfolios 585 x 490mm with the artist's signature blocked in white on the front.

The deluxe edition of 90 copies, signed in pencil by the artist and numbered on p.[3], comprises:

30 copies numbered 1 to 25 and HC 1 to HC 5 with CGM 603 and 651 numbered 1/50 to 25/50 and HC 1/10 to HC 5/10

30 copies numbered 26 to 50 and HC 6 to HC 10 with CGM 603 numbered 26/50 to 50/50 and HC 6/10 to HC 10/10

30 copies numbered 51 to 75 and HC 11 to HC 15 with CGM 651 numbered 26/50 to 50/50 and HC 6/10 to HC 10/10

All the prints are signed in pencil by the artist.

The standard edition is unnumbered and unsigned.
