The drawing upper left is a study for Mother and Child LH 100 in Burgundy stone which Moore carved in the early months of 1931. This page was probably detached from No.1 Drawing Book or an unidentified notebook when Moore decided to give certain sculptures and drawings to the Art Gallery of Ontario in 1974.
