The work was donated to the City under the will of N. Clyde Degginger. Henry Moore has visited Kansas City and preferred a site on Barney Allis Plaza, except for the distracting presence of a fountain and ventilation structure.

Moore is seen in his studios and home commenting on his use of maquettes; his early life, particularly his father; sheep; Stonehenge and sculpture in the Open Air. There is a short sequence of film at Stonehenge, and Perry Green residents are interviewed revealing an indifference to Moore's work.
