Wilkinson stresses that Moore's graphic work is an extension and continuation of his love of drawing, and similarly embodies Moore's obsessions with subjects related to his sculpture. Prométhée (See 0008261) and the Sheep album (See 0003614), combined with the Shelter drawings and subsequent major prints, provide an important contribution to 20th century printmaking.
