(Moore's early printmaking activities. 1963 as an important date when he worked with Curwen Studio. Jacques Frélaut's help culminated in Elephant Skull (See 0004721), and later Sheep album (See 0003614) and Girl Doing Homework. Influences on Moore's printmaking include Hercules Seghers, and the drawings of Seurat. Technical aspects are discussed, while the integration of ideas and themes is stressed as an important feature of the artist's total output in different media. This text also appeared in XX Siècle 49 (See 0003293) and in English in Arts Review, 13 May 1977 (See 0003238)).
