Harlow Family Group, 1954-1955 Hadene stone is at the Henry Moore Foundation, restored after being vandalised in 1988 (See 0011201, 0013146, 0013147, 0013246). There are plans to return it to Harlow, and a Public Appeal is being launched to raise £100,000 for a canopy to protect the statue from vandalism and the weather. Brief comments from Barry Foley, Harlow Arts Trust, and members of the public.

Description: 21 Feb 1999 edition of BBC 1 weekly antiques programme. Includes a 3 minute section in which expert Clive Farahar examines 30 intimate illustrated letters from Moore to Evelyn Kendal, brought to the programme by her daughter, Cherry Clayton. (The 1926 letters were to a student at the Royal College of Art). The collection valued at 50,000 pounds. The owner also mentioned a Moore portrait of her mother, which had been destroyed by flooding.
