Disbanded sketchbook of off-white lightweight machine-made laid paper 225 x 175mm to which twenty drawings have been ascribed. The pages are numbered in pencil upper right on the recto. The first numbered page recorded is 31; pages 1-29 are either unnumbered and unidentified, or missing. Some pages, for example p.49 HMF 2043, were photographed before the page number was added. Twelve other sketchbook pages of this date and of comparable size but lacking visible page numbers are placed at the end of this sequence.
