In late 1942 or early 1943 Moore was asked by Zika Ascher, the Czech textile manufacturer, to produce ideas for fabric designs. Some designs were produced as samples and a number of these went into production. Where identified, the drawings have been cross-referenced to the textiles using the Foundation's prefix TEX.
