CGM 162, which bears a relation to CGM 156, was based on the drawing titled Wreck HMF 3273. Nevertheless it seems to relate to a group of Rembrandt landscape drawings of a farmstead in the neighbourhood of Diemen rather than to a seascape, with the shape of a particular barn transformed into the turbulent peaks of the waves. In the second state Moore intensified the troughs of the waves with drypoint.
