plaster, 1955: The Henry Moore Foundation: gift of the artist 1977

Remarks
The copper, cold cast bronze and paper editions of this work were made c.1983 by a company called Mixografia, based at the time in Mexico and Los Angeles. They were all pressed from the same plate created from the original 1955 plaster. Moore was the first artist to use the technique called 'mixocraft' to create these works. The Foundation owns four paper versions (a-d) used to trial different colours and a further 8 numbered copies, as well as six copper and resin versions and a single cold cast bronze and resin cast.
