The use of black crayon on the verso of this page and also that of HMF 1219 may indicate that both pages were used when Moore picked up the Sketchbook in the late 1940s. Black crayon does not occur as a medium on any of the rectos in Sketchbook. Probably drawn in the late 1940s.
