The recto was originally catalogued as a separate drawing (HMF 651) and both sides were dated after the drawing was photographed. Reclining Woman, 1930 (LH 84) in green Hornton stone may have been inspired by the sketch at bottom right of the recto. The sketch at the top centre of the verso can be related to Reclining Figure 1930 (LH 90), corsehill stone.
