In this drawing Moore has opened up the claustrophobic setting and placed the sculptures in three small separate areas to the right of the main space. The dramatic use of light and shade gives a strong sense of recession into space, with the individual sculptures set as landmarks demanding attention along the way. The figure at the right appears again upper right in HMF 1336 and 1381, and the form next to it is Head 1939 (LH 195).
