More InformationSketchbook 1950-51 p.95. Ballpoint pen may have been added to the recto in 1973 when Moore used this drawing as a source for Sculptures: Dark Interior CGM 373. The drawing on the verso seems to have been influenced by an image of clasped hands, possibly from a reproduction of Henry of Constance, the German Dominican mystic Blessed Henry Suso (1295-1366); see also HMF 2662b. Related work CGM 373.
