Notebook No.5 p.7. Moore began teaching at the Royal College of Art in the autumn of 1925. As tutor of a class in the sculpture school, he could choose the models and set their poses. He told Wilkinson that many of the figure studies in Notebook No.5 were done during the evenings, when he had to rely on his memory of the models' poses.
