Leeds Art Gallery, situated just next door to the Henry Moore Institute, holds some of the earliest known works by Henry Moore. The collection includes a number of pieces created whilst he was a student at Leeds College of Art, as well as pieces produced whilst attending a pottery class in nearby Castleford, where he grew up.
