Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) is a leading international sculpture park for modern and contemporary sculpture. Founded in 1977 by Executive Director Peter Murray, Moore was the first patron of YSP and expressed a strong wish to site his bronzes in the Country Park during a visit in 1979.

The inclusion of Moore's work is made up of a number of loans from the Henry Moore Foundation and the Tate. It provides a unique opportunity to see many of the artist's works against the Yorkshire landscape of his childhood and alongside a significant collection of sculpture by artists such as Barbara Hepworth, David Nash and James Turrell.
