More InformationMoore at the Warren Gallery (See 0009446), a carver conditioned by his material and whose sympathies are entirely with the extreme modernists". The influence is noted of Zadkine and Archipenko through his Royal College of Art studies while the semi-abstract treatment in some figures is regarded as inconsistent. The drawings are seen to be of a very high order and his future is seen to lie "in the direction of sculpture for purely decorative purposes".
