MITCHINSON David. Etchings and Lithographs 1949-1984.
(Apart from one or two pre-war prints, Moore became actively involved with printmaking relatively late in his career. After making reproductions of drawings, and experiments with the collotype process, Moore produced lithographs from images previously created as drawings. Outlines contacts over the years with printers and print publishers, including Jacques Frélaut. Elephant Skull (See 0004721) and subsequent albums. Many of the found objects in Moore's maquette studios appear in different guises in his graphics. A later concern was setting figures in landscape or architectural backgrounds. Lists beneficiaries of complete sets of prints. Outlines diazo lithographs process).
