The Monuments and Statues of Brussels
Two-volume work on the public sculpture of Brussels. Volume 1 (English), initially published separately, contains essays on the history of public sculpture in Brussels, mentioning Moore (p.235) as one of the first sculptors who began to create monumental work to appear in public in towns and cities after the Second World War, and discussing in particular (p.245, illus. p.246) Moore's Locking Piece which was owned by the Banque Lambert in Brussels. Plate 63 is a photograph of Locking Piece by Vincent Everarts de Velt.
Volume 2 (English, French, Dutch) is a catalogue raisonée of the public art of Brussels. Moore's Locking Piece mentioned in the introduction as being included, despite private ownership, as it is "so deeply rooted in the appearance of our city". Included as catalogue number 7:95.
