More InformationAnnouncement by Dr. William Schuman, President of the Lincoln Center Project, after visit to Much Hadham, that Moore had agreed to create a centerpiece for the North Plaza Pool. The exact nature of the sculpture was not yet fixed, but it would be of heroic proportions". Followed by short text by John CANADAY entitled Moore's Work Analyzed on "the elder statesman of British art". A short letter from Theresa WISE dated 4 August 1962 was published in the New York Times 10 Aug 1962 under the heading Lincoln Square Art Queried deploring the ordering of "one of Henry Moore's monstrous creations"."
