Page 39 has image by Errol Jackson of Moore in his studio at Perry Green with two bronze casts of A'a in the context of latest research and exhibition focused on this Polynesian god figure that Moore, together with Picasso and Penrose, so admired. Moore had two bronze casts made from a plaster cast acquired from the British Museum. The latest research centred around the recent finding of and subsequent analysis of a pinky-red feather discovered in the hollowed out back of the figure and the identification of original material as sandalwood rather than as previously thought, pua wood.
