Published as a book in deluxe and standard editions containing the collected poems of Lawrence Durrell. The deluxe edition contains CGM 531 tipped in as a frontispiece.

206 x 134mm: 350 numbered pages in eleven signatures of 32 with the frontispiece and an edition page tipped in between pp.[2] and [3] and [4] and 5 respectively. The deluxe edition is bound in dark blue full oasis goatskin with hand-sewn silk headbands; the spine has five raised bands with the title, author's name, 'ETCHING BY/HENRY MOORE' hand-lettered in gold and a design of the head and shoulders of a child (the artist's grandson) made specially by Moore and tooled in gold. The endpapers are reproduced from a drawing also made especially for the purpose and incorporating the author's initials 'LD' [not in HMF archive]. CGM 531 is printed on Montval-Maillol 216 x 150mm. The books are contained in an ivory cloth-covered slipcase.

The books in the standard edition, which is published by Faber and Faber, London, are bound in blue cloth and have a dust jacket with CGM 531 reproduced on the front.

The deluxe edition of 126 copies, signed in ink by the author and numbered or lettered on p.[4], comprises:

100 numbered copies with CGM 531 on Montval-Maillol signed in pencil by the artist, unnumbered

26 copies marked A to Z with CGM 531 on Montval-Maillol signed in pencil by the artist, unnumbered

The number of copies in the standard edition is unknown.
