More Information

[Europäische Graphik IX, Galerie Wolfgang Ketterer, Munich 1974]

Published as a portfolio in Editions A and B on different papers containing CGM 280 and 296 and etchings and lithographs by six other artists, two by Giacomo Manzu and one each by Eduard Bargheer, Le Corbusier, Christian Rickert, Graham Sutherland and Ossip Zadkine. Felix H. Man edited the portfolio. This, the last in the series Europäische Graphik, was originally intended to commemorate the two hundredth anniversary of the birth in 1771 of Alois Senefelder, the inventor of lithography, but due to technical problems it was not published until 1974.

800 x 550mm (Edition A), 670 x 525mm (Edition B): 2 unnumbered pages in one sheet, with nine prints on Japanese paper for Edition A and the same on Arches for Edition B, contained in a beige cloth-covered portfolio with black ties, the title blocked in black on the front.
