More Information

Page from an unidentified Red Notebook. A few pages removed from various Red Notebooks, which cannot be attributed to any one in particular, are grouped together here. In addition to the seven Red Notebooks catalogued, another two are known: one, marked EMPTY

in Moore's writing, contains fifty-five blank pages plus front and rear endpapers. The other, now known as Red Notebook: Artist's Signatures, contains six pages of signatures and eighteen blank pages plus rear endpaper; it is possible that some of the 'pen exercise' drawings, see HMF 3240, might have come from here.

Other drawings from unidentified Red Notebooks include HMF 73/74(32), HMF 75(43), 80(321) and 80(322). Related works CGM 450, TAP 12. The drawings was previously catalogued as HMF 80(358).
