Notebook No.2 p.63. Moore played football and tennis and continued to watch sport throughout his life. He particularly enjoyed boxing, often going to matches in London with his friend Raymond Coxon. The studies of sports on this and following four pages of the notebook were probably done as a set subject at the Royal Academy.
