The small drawing upper left was the basis for Reclining Figure LH 208 cast in lead late in 1939. The third sketch from the left in the top row seems to have inspired LH 203, another figure cast in lead the same year, since both drawing and sculpture are characterised by drapery - a folded blanket, perhaps - wrapped round the figure's waist.
