This drawing has erroneously been referred to as HMF 2813a, the number of another drawing, and was also recorded as HMF 2814a. The pencilled form lower centre, later overdrawn with felt-tipped pen, was used on the cover of We ask your attention, a broadsheet attacking the British Government's policy of non-intervention in the Spanish Civil War, designed by Moore and issued by the British Surrealist Group in 1938.
