The drawing was used as a design for a David Whitehead fabric which was reproduced both on the cover of the exhibition catalogue Painting into Textiles at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London 1953, and on the cover of The Ambassador: The British Export Magazine for Textiles & Fashions no.11, into which the catalogue was incorporated.
