More Information
Moore in China was the first major exhibition of works by a British sculptor in the People's Republic of China, as well as one of the largest and most important series of exhibitions of British art ever mounted there. Comprising over a 100 sculptures across a fifty-four year period (1929-83), the show displays the full range of Moore's creative achievement, including a outdoor sculpture exhibition of twelve large sculptures in Beihai Park in Beijing.

The exhibition has been organised by the British Council in the UK and the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in China, in collaboration with the Henry Moore Foundation, the China International Exhibition Agency, the Guangdong Museum of Art and the Shanghai Art Museum.
