In "This Week's Essential Reviews", the Henry Moore exhibition at Houghton Hall is listed as "also worth seeing" and given a three-star review by Alastair SMART. The show is compared unfavourably to the Wallace Collection's Henry Moore: The Helmet Heads, with complaints that only six monumental sculptures are on display, and the smaller works shown inside Houghton Hall "make little impact". Two of the works - Large Reclining Figure (LH 192b) and Mother and Child: Block Seat (LH 838) - are illustrated.
