Simon Grant's accompanying text reflects upon why the pieces sit so comfortably in the landscape" begining with the impact of Large Reclining Figure 1984 fibreglass (LH 192b) beside Kew's iconic Palm House. Some biographical content and references to the early influence of the stone forms at Alwoodley Crags. The text explores the developement of form from Moore's collection of found objects on display in the Nash Conservatory. Grant also explores the siting of many individual pieces and states that Moore's sculpture "make you notice what is around them".
