Description: George Ablah has sold the 57 works that make up the core of his collection to the Hall Family Foundations of Kansas City. The Foundation, established in 1954 by Joyce C. Hall, founder of Hallmark Cards, will lend the works to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. In October 1985 Ablah sold 16 Moores to Nobutaka Shikanai. These are on permanent view in the Hakone Open-Air Museum. AP and other news reports appeared in many other newspapers throughout the world 23-30 November 1986 and beyond.
