12-15,30-31,59-65(8 illus) Henry Moore: seven Drawings 1940-1944.Henry Moore is unquestionably the leading figure of the group. A sculptor first of all, his drawings are even more widely known than his sculpture. A student of such divergent sources as Renaissance, Medieval, Sumerian, Negro and Pre-Columbian art, and an admirer of Picasso, he has concentrated almost to the exclusion of all else, on the elementary forms and rhythms of the human body."
