Henry Moore/80th Anniversary Portfolio [Orde Levinson, London 1978]

Published as a portfolio with nine mounted lithographs CGM 442-450 and a bound book containing an introduction in English by the publisher, details and reproductions of the lithographs, and photographs of the artist in colour accompanied by his quotations.

265 x 190mm: 48 unnumbered pages in six signatures of 8 bound in beige cloth-covered boards with quarter-binding of brown leather and the title blocked in brown on the front.

The lithographs on T.H. Saunders paper are each contained in a folded mount of stiff card 600 x 485mm within a beige cloth-covered Solander box with the author's signature and the title blocked in brown on the front and the signature and publisher's logo on the spine.

The edition of 70 copies, signed in pencil by the artist and numbered in pencil on p.[6], comprises:

40 copies numbered 1 to 40 with CGM 442-446, 450 numbered 1/50 to 40/50 and CGM 447-449 numbered 1/40 to 40/40

10 copies numbered I to X with CGM 442-450 dedicated

20 copies marked HC I to HC XX without prints and not contained in a Solander box.

All the etchings are signed in pencil by the artist and marked with their plate number.
