Published as a book with verses in French by Jean Racine, Gérard de Nerval, Victor Hugo, Charles Baudelaire, Stéphane Mallarmé and Paul Valéry taken from poems in anthologie de la poésie française by Georges Pompidou. It contains ten lithographs CGM 315 and 317-325, each initialled by the artist, with CGM 313 on the outer protective cover and CGM 312 on the slipcase.

470 x 390mm: 48 unnumbered pages in 12 leaves of Arches in a square folded leaf of Arches with CGM 315 on the front, within a protective folder of boards covered with Arches bearing CGM 313, contained in a slipcase of boards covered with Arches bearing CGM 312.

The edition of 150 copies, signed in pencil by the artist on p.[41] and numbered on p.[8], comprises:

110 copies numbered 1 to 110 and 40 copies hors commerce numbered I to XL with CGM 312, 313, 315 and 317 to 325 unnumbered.

Published separately was a loose suite of eleven lithographs CGM 315-325 on Japon nacré 770 x 580mm each in an edition of 60 copies:

40 numbered 1/40 to 40/40; 5 numbered I/V to V/V; and 15 marked A/O to O/O, all signed in pencil by the artist.
