Published as a book in deluxe and standard editions containing quotations by the artist in English, also translated into German and French. There are 25 photographs in colour and 54 in black and white by John Hedgecoe, a biographical note and a list of reproductions. The deluxe edition contains the lithograph CGM 291.

240 x 228mm: 88 numbered pages in brown linen-covered boards with the artist's signed initials blocked in gold on the front and the title on the spine, in a paper dust jacket with a colour illustration of Maquette for Double Oval 1966 (LH 558) superimposed on a landscape background; the title on the front, a black photo-positive of the artist superimposed on the back, and the title on the spine, contained in a brown linen-covered slipcase. The black photopositive is repeated inside on a loose sheet of transparent film. The deluxe edition has CGM 291 printed on Arches, within a grey paper folder with a flap bearing the publisher's name, bound between the front endpaper and the half-title page
