Published as a portfolio in deluxe (A) and standard (B) editions containing the lithographs CGM 42 and 44 and seven lithographs by five other British artists, two each by Reg Butler and Graham Sutherland and one each by Lynn Chadwick, John Piper and William Scott, with an explanatory text in English. In addition deluxe edition A contains the lithograph CGM 53.
800 x 550mm; 2 unnumbered pages in one sheet, with ten lithographs on Japon papers for Edition A and nine lithographs on Arches for Edition B. Each lithograph is contained in a folder of glassine and card in a beige linen-covered portfolio with black ties, with its title blocked in black on the front.
This portfolio, edited by Felix H. Man, is the first in a series of nine. Pls.1 and 2 are by Reg Butler, Pl.3 by Lynn Chadwick, Pls.4 and 5 by Henry Moore, Pl.6 by John Piper, Pl.7 by William Scott and Pls.8 and 9 by Graham Sutherland. Edition A has an extra lithograph by Henry Moore, Pl.10.

The edition of 100 copies, numbered and signed in black ballpoint pen by the editor on p.[1], comprises:
35 copies of Edition A numbered I to XXXV with CGM 42, 44 and 53 numbered I/XXXV to XXXV/XXXV
65 copies of Edition B numbered 1 to 65 with CGM 42 and 44 numbered 1/65 to 65/65
CGM 42, 44 and 53 are signed and dated 63 in pencil by the artist and marked with the publisher's blind stamp.
CGM 42, 44 and 53 were printed by Curwen Prints Ltd, London.
