Notebook No.3 p.113. The drawing lower left on the recto may be related to the 1923 carving in walnut wood, Standing Woman LH 5. The inscription on the recto may refer to Cézanne's teaching that the painter should look for the cone, the sphere, and the cylinder in nature.
