Description: Copyright 1961 by Editions du Griffon, Neuchâtel. Records the close contact between Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth from the beginning of their studies until about 1936. They came from Yorkshire, drew from the same sources of inspiration, and met often and discussed sculpture. At one time they lived in close proximity in Hampstead. Comparisons refer to Moore's disturbing dynamic conception of sculpture and Hepworth's classic aesthetic conception. Holes had a different function in their respective works.
