Description: Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 and 11 December 1912 programme with grey paper covers carrying design by Winil Dumbarton and Albert Wainwright. Consisted of ten episodes of Castleford Through the Ages: a dramatic representation of incidents connected with the history of Castleford. Composed or compiled by the pupils with the assistance of the staff. The history and the English under the direction of Miss Ethel Hopkins and Miss Major with the assistance of Mrs Dawes. Mr Saniter and Mr Gee constructed the stage, and Miss Gostick and Miss Lovelock supervised the scenery, Mr Gee had charge of the music. In episode IX: The Jacobite Rebellion of '45, composed by Form IV, H.S. Moore played the part of Thomas, a Hanovarian villager, He was also one of eight dancers performing Rufty Tufty" and "Grimstock" from Playford's English Dancing Master (1651-1728). Other students involved included A. Wainwright A. Dalby F.W. Ambler etc."

Legiolium: a medley, introducing dramatised history, songs, and dances. (H.S. Moore was cast as Rolf, a Dane).
